Do you need more space?  Are you thinking about moving, but love the area? Do you need to increase your home’s re-sale value?

All are good questions and if the answers seem to be “YES”.   A custom Room Addition may be for you.  Room Additions can increase your existing living space, not only giving you and your family more room but making your home more usable and practical.  Room Additions can provide enough room for your family to stay in a place they grew up in and love.  If selling is an option or a necessity in the future, the right Room Addition can increase the value of your home.  With the obstacles the economy and housing market are causing today, many people are making the choice of building on instead of moving on.

Maybe you have enough space, but your bathroom or kitchen is outdated.

A custom Remodel may be for you.  Remodels can have many benefits other than just updating a room with your design tastes and specifications.  Remodel’s can lower utility costs, add more space, increase the functionality of the space, and a great overall appearance.  Custom Remodels also increase the value of a home; Bathrooms and Kitchens usually bring the best return on your investment.

If you are interested in a Custom Room Addition or Remodel, but are unsure of what to do, please contact us today to make an appointment for your free in home design consultation.  Our designers will work with you on your life style and budget to turn your remodeling dreams into reality.

We are a full service remodeling company and no job is too small or too big.  If you are interested in a job that may not be listed above, please contact us and our professionals will discuss the project with you and set up an appointment to meet with you.

Our Process:

Step 1: The First Meeting
We will meet at your home to scope out the area to take measurements and pictures.  At this time you can tell us about your renovation plans; your dreams and ideas.  Let us know what you see as far as designs, materials that you would like to see used, and have an idealistic budget in mind.  If you are unsure about designs, materials, or your idealistic budget this where you can discuss your needs and wants with our sales representative and from there you can work with our designers.

Step 2: The Proposal
All information gathered from the sales representative will be given to the office staff where preliminary drawings are created and a detailed proposal describing the job, detailing each task that will be completed by Vickrey Remodeling and noting what is not included or what will be completed by others is prepared.  Each proposal is prepared specifically for each homeowner.

Step 3: We Meet Again
We meet again where we go over the drawings, the proposal, pictures, and any other information that we have pulled together for your project.  We discuss each part to ensure that what you want or need is included.  How you want it completed is possible within the limits of the project and your budget.  Depending on your decisions, this is where we decide to go next.  We may have to go back step 2 and revise any drawings or the proposal.  If not, we move on.

Step 4: Go Shopping
If the project and price are right and you are ready to move forward.  It is time to go shopping.  We will provide you with a list of what items you are looking for, what companies you need to go to and addresses, and who you will be contacting and working with.

Step 5: The Final Meeting
We meet yet again to go through the project one last time before signing the contract to ensure everyone is in agreement with the proposed contract.  All drawings, information, pictures, and selections are verified before the final signing.  We understand that there are quite a few meetings and necessary time not only on our part, but yours as well.  We know this can be difficult because you are very busy also, but the time and meetings ensure that everyone is on the same page and all information is accurate before moving on and finally signing.  The project will be a part of your home for many years to come and we want you to love the finished product and be able to enjoy it.  If everyone is in agreement and the contract is signed, we move on.  If not, we will go back to the office and complete any revisions or answer any questions that you have before you are ready to move on.

Step 6: Ordering
After the contract is signed, we will start getting materials ordered and get the job lined out with material delivery dates and a completed timeline.

Step 7: Starting the Project
Once we know when all materials are being delivered and have a timeline together.  We will let you know when we are starting.  On the start date, we will be there usually first thing to start demolition or anything else that is needed to start your project.
